IN HER PAST, Ilde was brainwashed into a cult and traumatized by post-apocalyptic conditions. The world was violent and Ilde saw some very gory and disgusting things; including torture. Dreus was overtly an epitome of toxic masculinity and a misogynist.
While her personal demons are under [enough] control, she still has the lens as a survivor of some extreme religious abuse. She may frame certain things from a [fantasy] religious point of view.
